Biog
I work for Curve Theatre, Leicester as Head of their Sound & Video, where I work with incoming touring shows, in-house produced productions and all projects, big and small requiring a Sound or Video head.

I started out as a freelance all-round theatre technician working locally around the Greater Manchester area after gaining a Manchester University BA(Hons) in Performance Design and Management, and worked as a Sound Technician, Operator, Supervisor and just all-round Sound Related Problem.

I was Senior Sound Technician at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester for nearly 7 years working on over 100 productions in No.1 operator, No.2 Mic runner, Production Sound Engineer, Sound Designer or Associate Sound Designer roles. I did it all.

I have Sound Design experience both in fringe and professional work, including work in the Royal Exchange main theatre on 'Rolling Stone' which transferred to West Yorkshire playhouse and 'Tree' which was re-mounted at the Old Vic in London.

I have an interest in recording my own effects and experience in using Qlab, Timax, DME, SCS, SFX and Ableton within my day to day work.

I am also used to making Sound based practicals to a high standard (especially when used inches from audience member's seat's here at the Exchange) and a basic understanding of electronics (Arduino, Raspberry pi etc.)
