What I'm working on at the moment
Constellations - a collaborative audio-visual project with artist Virag Pazmany exploring humanities relationship to the cosmos through sound, music, image and bodies in space.

IN UTERO - an immersive sound installation reimagining how a mother's body, senses and emotions become her child's through an interactive in-womb experience. Sound design, voice recording and foley, including creating a female binaural head for the purpose. Presented by Very Clock Theatre (Anna Clock and Veronika Szabo).

Fabric - sound and music for run at Soho Theatre and community-focussed London tour.

Biog
I am Anna Clock, a composer, musician and sound designer based in London via Dublin. In my work I aim to create unique live experiences that challenge audience-spectator roles, often using spatial techniques and elements of spontaneity, including improvisation and employing a variety of different sound technologies, including binaural sound. My work
is often collaborative and interdisciplinary and I co-direct Very Clock theatre company and Discotheque Collective.

Other recent collaborations include Projects and Overhangs – sound design and music for film (by filmmaker Louis-Jack Horton-Stephens, screened Aug 2016 at Doremifasolata festival and Nov 2016); Disconnection Research - music and sound for dance (Alina Lindroos, Jun 2015); Constellations (2014), interactive installation with illustrator Isadora Epstein and sculptor Claire McCluskey as part of the Incubation residency in Talbot Gallery and Studios (March 2014); Any which way (collaboration with film maker Sophia Hersi Smith, Aug 2014).

As a composer and instrumentalist I have written for the RTE Contempo quartet, Tonnta, New Dublin Voices, Kirkos Ensemble, Node Ensemble, Dulciana, Gamelan Nua as well as for my own groups Low Tide, Téada Orchestra and Constellations, and performed and recorded with a number of Irish acts including Gavin Prior, David Turpin, Emma O’Reilly, Hozier, David Lacey and others. My first release was an EP entitled Celestial, and is available for purchase and download at www.annaclock.bandcamp.com.

I have run workshops in musical improvisation and DIY electronics for musicians and am an active member of the Irish Composers Collective. I studied Music and English literature at Trinity College Dublin and ‘cello performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. I recently completed my MA in Advanced Theatre Practice with Distinction at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
