Constellation Acoustic System by Meyer Sound
at
The Royal College of Music Performance Laboratory

Friday 20th June 11.00am - 1.00pm

Meyer Sound are pleased to invite members of the ASDP to experience Constellation at The Royal College of Music. Constellation is an Electro Acoustic Enhancement system for variable acoustics but also can be a tool for creating audience engagement by creating differing qualities in the audience chamber. At the RCM, Constellation is used alongside immersive video, to create multiple environments for students to experience the difference of performing in very distinctive settings.

The presentation will be led by John Pellowe, Project Director for Constellation. John is a highly accomplished audio engineer with an extensive career in classical music recording, live sound mixing, and acoustic system design. His expertise in recording, engineering, and acoustic enhancement has earned him industry-wide recognition, including multiple Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Pro Sound Awards in 2014. In addition to his studio work, he served as Sound Engineering Director for Luciano Pavarotti’s solo concert tours, as well as his performances with The Three Tenors, helping to bring their iconic sound to audiences worldwide.

Schedule to follow but due to space constraints this session will be limited to 20 attendees.

Location: Performance Laboratory, Royal College of Music, Prince Consort Road
