Sound designer
Richard Brooker leads this session, sharing his expert approach to musical theatre sound design, including the techniques of amplifying a band/orchestra, dealing with their monitoring requirements, dealing with the cast’s monitoring of the band; Miking & mixing approaches; the relationship between the music dept and the sound dept; the overall sound of a musical; and working with the Operator. The session will end with a Q&A.
