Sarah Black is a performing arts professional based in London. Since 2016 Sarah has been the Deputy Head of Sound & Video at the National Theatre which has given her experience and insight into an extremely busy producing theatre.
Sarah’s background is as an audio engineer including time as a Sound AV Supervisor at the Sydney Opera House.
Highlights include: FOH engineer for the Australian Ballet (2013 – 2016), Black Diggers (Sydney Festival); FOH Systems Technician for Bob Dylan (2014); Monitors Engineer for The Drones and Melbourne Ska Orchestra (Vivid 2015); Concert Hall Supervisor for Father John Misty (2015) and Bon Iver (Vivid 2016). Sarah also supervised the installation and operation of the successful trial electroacoustic system in the Joan Sutherland Theatre.
